Farmer Yogabitch is gonna have farm....eee-i-eee-i-O....a chick chick here, a dog dog there. Here a chick there a dog, maybe gonna get a pig too.....

I am SO TOTALLY getting one of these when I get home! Seriously! I have been having some issues eating meat lately...meaning, when you're bored...NOT a great idea to look at farm animal videos on youtube.

SO, even though it is TOTALLY hippie of me, I have stopped eating meat except for fish, cuz no offense to fish? But I don't really care if they're overcrowded. One of the videos that KILLED me was about the egg industry and what a scam it is and how they kill all the baby boy chicks, etc....again, not linking here cuz it would scar you for life. And I was like "how the HELL could I give up eggs??? Eggs are in chocolate chip cookies!!"

Then I JUST found this and about fell over! And yes, I'm getting pink!

OH....and you can order the chickens from them too! CAN you even IMAGINE the excitement when UPS shows up with THIS bad boy??!?

You just don't know how excited I am for fresh eggs every morning...

That....and.....

this will SO ANNOY MY NEIGHBORS!!!

Wasn't there a Sex and the City episode where someone had chickens on their roof, and Carrie couldn't sleep? Ot was it Friends? Or Seinfeld? So interchangeable sometimes.

I can totally get behind having chickens. In addition to the eggs they provide, they also eat all the nasty bugs in your garden. Have you ever been to mypetchicken.com? They have a smaller minimum order on chicks than most other sites. Happy Cooping!

I like the title, Farmer Yogabitch...LOL!

As per the animal natured places that treat them badly, I don't agree with either. Filthy bastards should be treated the same way...

But, I love meat. I'm a savage yoga bitch I guess. LOL! Though, I don't eat a lot of meat, there are just some things I can't live without! :)

We recently concidered getting chickens ourselves...

my brother's girlfriend watched one of those shows on HBO or showtime or the sundance channel or whatever. ANYWAY.....she and cody are now vegetarians (again), and are trying to get us all to be vegetarians. i'm pretty sure i could give up red meat, but never chicken. so, would you be willing to raise some chickens for me to eat?????

ummmm, rychelle...MY chickens will probably have names like dolly madison and lorraine brocco and wear pink plaid collars. YOU CAN NOT EAT THEM.

You can only have their unborn offspring.

I want chickens too but have so far been unable to talk my husband into that hippie past time. Also, I've wondered how it would work having chickens and Dexter in the same yard. You'll have to let us all know how that one goes...
Happy Farming!

I have a friend whose husband raises chickens. Not sure what they do with them. I think they have them just for their eggs. Have fun with it and yay for annoying the neighbors. lol

Who needs meat when there are at least 437 varieties of cheese to be enjoyed?

You better be careful! There are all sorts of zoning covenants and HOA restrictions that these little chickadees will violate :)

Read the fine print before you buy...

do you know what time chicks wake up - and they don't go back to bed after the dog park!

(but I do love the pink - when you are done with it ((I give you 7 days)) give me a call!)

when we were in Australia, one of our cousins had a chicken as a pet, now my kids are begging me to get them one, I don't see myself cleaning after it, I can barely keep up with my poor dog Bam Bam!

Dear Lord, woman. Where, oh where are you going to put this thing? On your roof?

If I were to read into the deeper meaning of this post, I would have to say that you are trying to tell me that you want to move to Northern California to be my neighbor and raise your chickens in the wide open air.

Let's make it happen.
